Your Questions About Ladybug Stuff

Jenny asks…
What’s the name of this 90′s video game involving insects that fought each other?
Around 1999 or so, about the time that Tomb Raider 4 was released and also the Wild Wild West game was released, i played a Demo of a game which i forgot it’s name.
i know already that it’s NOT “GALAGA”, galaga is from the 80′s…
I’m pretty sure it’s from 98 or 99, and the game consisted in bugs, kinda robotic looking, fighting each other (strategy game). Different teams had different colors, like yellow, blue, red, green, etc.
i remember there being ladybugs with cannons, spiders also with cannons, bees that could shoot fire from their bodies, stuff like that, and you would also have Bases, and you had to destroy the enemies base!
I really can’t remember the name of this game, and i would love to play it again! Can someone help, please!? sorry for sounding like a nerd ahah
thanks

Robert asks…
help me make my room look more mature!!?
i designed my room when i was 11, and now im 15 and want something a little bit more fitting.
i cant go out and buy a lot of stuff or paint my walls. my walls are a light sky blue and i have a light green carpeting. i have two white dressers and a bookshelf. my bed is in a corner next to a small window, it is a queen and i have a deep purple comforter. my pillows are all diff colors because i sleep with like 7 pillows and only two matching pillow cases came with the comforter.
on one wall, i have three doors. one leads to the room, the next into my closet, and the third to my bathroom. there is onl enough space between the first two for a light switch. between the second two, there is a thermostat in the middle of the wall, and i have a mirror leaning next to it, and my makeup spread out in front of it. next to the mirror i have a little poster of something from my 5th grade class. after the bathroom, there is a little bit of space, and then the corner. in the corner i have one of my dressers. it is tall and white. nothing is on top of it, but i have some pictures taped to its side. next to my dresser is a lamp and then my bedside table and then my bed.
above my bed i have a huge collage of pictures and things from my travels. at the foot of my bed i have a wooden chest filled with blankets and pillows and between the wall and the chest i have a plastic cabinet filled with odds and ends, and ontop of it, i have all my old binders and books and a bunch of notecards. next to the cabinet is a bookcase that is white and completely filled, with a printer on top. above that i have a wall decal design that are polka dots in shades of blue green and brown. then have a tiny bit of wall space, and a window. all around the window i have pictures letters and cards. there is then a corner in which i have a glittery flower ( a centerpiece that i kept from my bat mitzvah)and a flag that my dad made for me from my fourth birthday. then another window surrounded by pictures. below the window i have a basket filled with all my sports stuff for volleyball, cheerleading, and softball. next to that i have another white dresser, more long than tall. on top i have a few trophies piggybanks and a huge signin board from my batmitzvah that has my name written in big glittery green letters, and popout ladybugs on it.
then, back to the door that leads into my room. ontop of the three doors, i have three pictures (each) of me and my childhood. i can take things down and put things up. i can also rearrange my furniture. my room (when you walk in) is longer than it is wide. please help!!!!!! (i also dont like to get rid of things so finding a place to put things may be of issue)

Ok well 1st i am having my bat mitzvah soon and i am going to hang the center pieces on my wall and use them as shelves.
2nd anything that you feel isn’t “mature” you should get rid of or put away somewhere
3rd you could use a room designing site to help you. I really enjoy using them just for fun (i know its weird!) so some of the better ones are (im also going to put them into the source):

Steven asks…
What is a good camera for a beginner photographer under $300 – $400?
Hi, I want a camera for a beginner photographer *as the title states* and this includes the lenses and stuff, I don’t need the tripod or any fancy things, just need basically lenses, camera, and the kit, but whatever.
I mean I want to take good quality pictures of anything, like ladybugs, snails, my friends, or whatever.
I just don’t need the blurring lenses, since it is going to be difficult for that. (keep in mind I am 12. So I have a loooonng ways until I understand cameras and stuff.)
I also want the camera to be able to take video (but not really since that isn’t REALLY important but it would be a nice feature don’t you think
)
So just tell me about the camera I could get for christmas, and if it DOES have a videotaking feature then please tell me or suggest it or whatever.
Thanks.
Oh and it doesn’t ENTIRELY have to be under $300 but it is only what I think how much my parents will spend on me for Christmas, so….yeah.

Ladybugs answers:
Asking for a lens, camera and the kit, tells us you want a dSLR. Shooting ladybird beetles tells us you need a macro lens.
I seems that your $300 budget is based upon what you have to spend, not from any research you have done looking at that such a camera and lens costs.
For about $300, you can buy a nice 35 mm SLR and macro lens, but you will have to have the negatives scanned if you want to have digital files to share with your friends, post on facebook or posted on any of the image sharing websites.
An entry level dSLR costs about $650 with an entry level 18-55 mm lens. A macro lens will cost another $350 to $600.
Do some research and see what you find.
Look at Nikon and Canon websites for prices of the cameras and lenses.
You can have your parents buy you a nice P&S camera with a decent 15x optical zoom and some kind of closeup ability.
Here is a sample of one such camera
