Your Questions About Ladybug Tattoos Pictures

William asks…
I want to get a tattoo of a horse but I want it to be unique, any pics?
I want it to be a full horse with music notes and a ladybug Incorporated in the tattoo.
It could be big enough to cover my lower back. Any pictures that yo could help me get ideas with?

Ladybugs answers:
If someone else can give you the picture of it… It isnt original…
My advice, go take some pictures of a horse… And take them to a portrait artist…. Obviously if you aren’t near a farm or something my idea sucks.. :-

Robert asks…
Wondering about tattoo realistic looking…? (please read)?
I’m 18 and ever since I was fifteen I wanted a smalltattoo of a ladybug on my hand, kind of like where my hand web is, but lower… between the thumb and pointer finger… if that makes sense
anyways, i’m wondering if tattoo artists could make it more realistic, all the pictures i’ve seen online are just cartoons, but i’m wondering if people can actually make it look relatively real I want it small so I know it wont be perfect, but I want a pretty picture of one lol
(and i’ve been thinking about it a long time, ladybugs are something that reminds me of my childhood and would be a reminder to still enjoy the little things)

Ladybugs answers:
If your talking something the size of a pencil eraser a bit more detail can be put in but not much. Something say the size of a dime alot of detail could be put into. Careful use of shading and highlights can go a long way. That being said though it might not be the most durable tattoo. Alot of times as a tattoo ages the fine detail will be lost especially in something small and especially on your hands where the skin is very flexible. The smaller it is the harder it will be to make it look real is the bottom line.

Chris asks…
What can I do to brighten the colors of my tattoo?
Okay, to be completely straightforward, I have a tattoo of a ladybug on my butt. I wanted to know if there was any kind of product that I could put on it to make the color “pop” again. I heard there was a lotion specifically made for it, and I also heard that some people rub cooking oil on it, but I’m not altogether sure if that’s safe. It sounds like I’d be preparing to deep fry myself.
I know most people just say “Get your artist to touch it up,” but I’m trying to leave that as a last resort. It’s not completely out of the picture though, so if I do get it touched up, what is he going to do? Will he just go over the red with the same red and make it brighter? Or will he go over the red with white to make it a lighter red?
Thanks for the help.

Haha the deep-fry thing made me smile. : )
I use “Tattoo goo” on my tattoos (new and old) – they enhance colours a fair bit and always keep the tattoos looking pretty fresh! It’s designed specifically for that purpose. Here’s a link http://www.tattoogoo.com
